Reconnecting Sonos speakers

My Sonos speakers are not being recognized by the app. I've tried reconnecting them, but it cannot locate my product. How do I do this? I've had the same speakers for the last two years and this is the first time I've had this issue.

Exact same problem since the last update.

Got my speaker as an Xmas present. For the first few months the problem was that the bluetooth wouldn’t connect to by turntable. Later resolved in an update. Worked fine for 2 months or so, then the awful app update rendered it unberable to use. Not it doesn’t recognise my speaker. I’ve had about a months use of it so far this year! Feel quite aggrieved.

You’ve unfortunately joined the thousands of us with similar problems.  Usually I can get a few speakers working correctly for one session by resetting them.  Other times I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app then reset the speakers again.

So, welcome to the club….  But I hope your system gets working soon!

I have had the speaker bar on my tv since 2019. I accidentally updated it to the Sonos 2 app and now I have no connection to it at all. Like everyone else in this thread, I’m dead in the water. I have no idea what to do. I would like to be able to play music when my tv is off, but that’s a moot point. I have very little info on my speaker. I don’t know number, etc. Wi-Fi doesn’t recognize it to connect. The only good thing is it still works with my tv. I guess I will have to leave it at that. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know. By the way, I don’t know how to reset it either, although upgrading it may have done that.

Why not revert to S1 if that was working for you before you “accidentally updated it to the Sonos 2 app”?
