I have found several threads about the Sonos app not working on Xiaomi phones, but I do not see a solution to the problem, apart from using the equipment via the website. In marketing information, user manuals and other warnings before purchase there is no information that the application does not work with a specific phone or even an entire line, brand of phones. So I have a question, is anything happening about repairing this problem or should I return the equipment as non-compliant with the terms of the purchase agreement, because there is no chance of repairing this problem!!!???

Hi @marekwi, welcome to the Sonos Community!

There is an issue where the Sonos app will either fail to load or open to a black screen, which can occur on devices like Oppo, Realme X2/PRO, Xiaomi. This doesn’t occur on all devices of those makes, but it does occur more frequently that others. Our team is aware and are working towards a fix but don’t have any ETA to share currently.

The workarounds for this would be to force close the app and restart your mobile device, or to use a different device with the Sonos app installed. If this isn’t the problem you are experiencing, then I and the community can provide extra steps or troubleshooting support if you let us know what’s going wrong.

If you’re unable to get the Sonos app to work on your device and the alternatives don’t work for you either, then you could always return under our 30 day money back guarantee if you have purchased from us directly. If you have purchased from a retailer, you’ll need to contact them regarding their return policy.

Thanks for the tips. I'm using the mobile site for now because nothing else works on the black screen of the Sonos app and it's the only solution for me at the moment.
