@drewguitar,

It does sound like something is perhaps glitchy and certainly not as it should be… just as a comparison, the attached is a recording of what I see with the Sonos App when opening the App from a fully closed state using an old iPhone XR.

I don’t have icons on the Home Screen go missing etc. is your mobile device perhaps low on memory/storage space?

Ken_Griffiths:

 Actually what I was suggesting would be more than one folder on the PC that are all setup the same in Properties / Sharing.  All those folders would be shared by the Local Account user.  So because the path does not include a folder name and instead uses the name of the Local Account, would all the folders be indexed with only one path written in Sonos Music Library settings?

 When I attempted to use the path to the folder  it did not work.  Only worked when the path that shows in the Properties / Sharing page was written into the Sonos Music Library Settings.  That path shown there did not include the name of the shared folder.

\\PC Name\Shared folder name ( did not work )

\\PC Name\Local Account name ( did work )

 did not try multiple folders yet.

 All hypothetical of course.

Never seen that work myself. In my own case it’s always been //PC Name/Shared Folder Name and if there’s more folders that are held outside that structure/path, then  I usually just add that as a separate (library) path and (if necessary), with the different user/credentials too.
