Endless loop to error 1000

I tried to add a SL100 to my system but somewhere along the way it went wrong now every time I try to use the App it says I need to run and update.  I click update and it either says

“your system is up to date” and then goes back to the need to update screen or 

tells me the 100 needs to update after which it goes to an error 1000 

The app is completely non functional - no reboots or anything are working - anyone got any ideas?

I have the same issue.  About had it.  Everything working fine then tries to add a speaker that doesn’t show up.  Now error code 1000 but music was even still playing
