Hello,

Happy owner of several Sonos speakers I just bought a CD player, the FiiO DM13 BT, to be able to use again my old CDs.

I succeeded to connect the player to my Move 2 or an Era 100 via BT but any sound from the speakers…

Do you think I have to use the Sonos PORT with this CD player to be able to enjoy my CDs ?

(I have a lot of them already ripped in my NAS but still have others...)

TIA

Can’t help with Bluetooth but if your CD player has a Line-Out connection the Era-100 has a line-in optional adapter that will connect the two and likely sound better than Bluetooth too.

Showing at $19, maybe get a sale discount too if added to your cart?

Don’t buy something that converts in the wrong direction.

Don’t go with an off-brand, some may work but most won’t.

That can be a solution, thanks for the suggestion ! And yes, better avoid an off-brand.

Let’s see further if someone knows how it can work via Bluetooth...

Well, I didn’t succeeded to connected the CD player to my Ace either via BT… Maybe it’s out of order. I’m not convinced. I will return it.

If someone has a good CD player to recommend to use with our Sonos speakers, I’d like to read you !

I’ve not gone one was interested myself. You need to use a line in 3.5mm jack. Some models I’ve read have blu tooth but it only works on headphones. So wired is the only option by the sounds of it

Yes, it works with the line of my Ace. I’ll see if I keep it to use with the line or return it.
If someone wants to know it’s fine with a pair of Era 100 once you have adjusted the sound output level correctly
