i have a new router, TP-link BE230 where I try to add my music library on USB disk. I do the usual \\192.168.0.1\nameUSB and than the user id/password. I get an error 1002: can not add music library.  Anyone an idea what wrong?  I did check the firewall; its open for SONOS… Thanks!

Does this router treat attached USBs as an NAS? Or is it just a networked drive?

Stanley, thanks,, I looked at all of that, but no progress. Bruce- I think its called a mini NAS, for basic functionality….

@Gabrie

Please remove the digits after 168 of your the IP Address for security reasons 😊

The IP Address should be the location of the USB stick followed by a folder name:

Try this:

//192.168.xx.xx/name of folder that contains your music

or

//192.168.xx.xx (assuming the entire USB stick contains music files and nothing else). However, I don’t recommend this format which is “iffy”
