cannot control ray volume in app only on on device

I have a Ray together with a sub connected to my Sonos system and it is also connected to my TV. On one of my devices the small circle does not show up so controlling volume is not possible, however on another device it works. Have tried to restart the app in the phone but did not help

That’s odd. It would be helpful to know what device, and what operating system it is running. I’d also suggest deleting the app altogether, then reinstalling it, and being sure to ‘join existing system’.

@MikWan

What is your router model?
At DE community a user had the same problem and for him two things fixed it.
1. His router was an AVM Fritzbox model and the latest firmware has an option called EEE (Energy Efficient Ethernet). He had to turn this off.
2. He used different SSID for 2,4 and 5 GHz wifi on an AVM wifi mesh. After he set the same SSID for both bands, the volume slider dot came back.

Btw… just a restart of the Sonos devices also worked as a temporary workaround. But some hours later the issue came back. Same after just disabling EEE.
After also setting the same SSID the issue probably was fixed.

It’s a known issue being investigated.

Do you not have an IR remote that you can use?
