I have started to notice that new playlists when created in Apple Music are not syncing or even appearing in the playlist option in my Sonos app. if Io delete an old playlist is is removed and disappears from the list on both app and desktop. but if I recreate it, it is not seen anywhere apart from inside Apple Music on the Mac or iPhone.

I have removed everything app / service from both Mac & iPhone but it has made no difference, also I am getting duplicated playlist I have 4 copies of the “Favourites”

I am using S2 system with iOS 26.2 and latest Sonos app and firmware

I have tried everything I can think of

Anybody got any ideas?

Apple are never very responsive to fixing their integration issues.

Is this an Apple issue, are they aware of it?

how does this get reported to Apple?

This is a common Apple Music + Sonos sync issue — Sonos only refreshes playlists from Apple’s cloud library, and new ones can take hours (or never sync) if iCloud Music Library is glitching. Try toggling Sync Library off/on in Apple Music, then remove and re-add Apple Music in Sonos to force a full reindex.

The duplicate “Favourites” is an Apple-side metadata bug; Sonos is just showing what Apple’s API returns.

how does this get reported to Apple?

By customers telling them, e.g. you.

I have already reported it but I was wondering if Sonos were?

We wouldn’t know, Sonos doesn’t tell us about their inter-company communications, but as Sonos is not a paying customer of Apple, and you are, chances are much better that they’ll listen to a revenue source than a distribution source.

Depends on lots of other factors, too, but at the end of the day, a complaint from a paying customer usually carries more weight.
