I have a playlist on Apple Music which I have played through the Sonos app for many years. Now all of a sudden I can’t play it, I can see it but when I click on it I get the message “Something went wrong try again “ I can play everything else in Apple Music
Hi
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with Apple Music on Sonos.
Does this error only show up when you try that specific playlist, or does this occur every time you try to use Apple Music? If so, what about other music services, do you also get a similar error?
If you haven’t done so already already, I’d recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
- Reauthorize Apple Music by heading into the Sonos app and going to Account → Content Services → Apple Music → Primary Account → Reauthorize Account.
- Reboot the device the Sonos app is installed on that you’re starting playback from.
- Reset the Sonos app.
- Reboot your system by powering off your Router → Additional networking equipment → Sonos speakers → Device running the Sonos App, for around one to two minutes.
I hope these steps help, but if not, then please reach out to our support team for further troubleshooting, as they have the necessary tools available to help you resolve this.
Hi Jamie
It is only this playlist everything else works.
I have tried all the above but still it won’t play
David
Hi
Since only that playlist has issues, it leads me to believe the playlist itself is causing problems, but that doesn’t explain why you were able to play it before on your system.
I believe the best course here after the troubleshooting I suggested would be to submit a diagnostics within ten minutes of the ‘Something went wrong, try again.’ error, then contacting our support team for further troubleshooting.
Thanks Jamie
I somehow got it to work the other day but now it gone again, the actual playlist shows up in the Apple Music app but not when viewing it in the Sonos app.
