Ok - so, when the revamped Android app was launched a few months ago at least I could use my system via the Windows desktop app or with an ipad.

This is no longer the case. Every device I used to connect to my system and play music via my Sonos speakers is now useless. Will this nightmare be over any time soon? Or should I just burn those speakers? Is anyone still able to use their Sonos products?

Yes, the new Sonos App/Speakers are still working okay here. Check for any App/Speaker updates and perhaps also reboot your local router.

If the problems persist after that then it maybe best to reproduce the issue(s) seen and then immediately submit a Sonos system diagnostic report from within the Sonos App, note it’s reference and contact/chat with Sonos Support Staff via this LINK and see what the Staff can perhaps suggest to help you to resolve the matter.

Thank you Ken,

I was able to reconnect to the system after disconnecting and rebooting every network related piece of equipment and speaker in the home. At least my I-device interface works ok again.

Still waiting for the android app to catch up to pre-April 2024 level (basic) funcionality...

Something that has helped many with system stability issues is assigning static/reserved IP addresses to all Sonos devices.

Make sure you have the October update too, it should be available everywhere now.
