Hi all,

I’ve just got Amazon unlimited music to replace YouTube music.

I’ve restarted router, iPad, android phone and all my speakers and deauthorized YouTube.  I authorized Amazon and all my playlists show, but they’re empty.  Sometimes they show up but disappear rather quickly.  I followed a few guides clicking the heart button on all songs but it’s the same.  All worked well with YouTube so can’t understand.  There’s only 5 playlists, maximum has 99 songs and probably 30 to 40 albums.   Deleted apps, reauthorized Amazon numerous times bu still nothing.

Any help appreciated.

Possibly go to Spotify if that better integration?

Will

Well I couldn't even see a week out it was that bad.

For anyone with a similar problem I've switched to spotify which works very well with the sonos app.

Are the Playlist for songs on YouTube and not Amazon?

If they are and you disabled YouTube Sonos is likely not finding the he music there.

Hi Stanley,

Yes all songs are on newly created Amazon playlists.    Sometimes they appear in the Sonos app and play but then they’re gone.  The playlist itself is still there, just no songs in it.

They are the same playlists I imported from YouTube to Amazon.

interestingly this morning one playlist that was there last night is empty of songs.  But the song I paused is still there and plays.  It also skips to the next songs in the playlist.  I just can’t see the songs in the list.  Even the album art shows on the now playing part.

Hi @Willyeckerslike

  • Do you have multiple accounts with Amazon?
  • Have you signed in to the app on mobile with the same account credentials to which the Alexa is registered?
  • Amazon Music will automatically sync your library across devices, so you usually do not need to do anything to force them to sync.
  • You can always try to sync your music by heading into settings and scrolling to the bottom to select "Refresh my music".
  • Try updating the device, app and restart after updated and check. If the issue still persists, try uninstalling the app and installing again.

If the above doesn’t resolve your issue I suggest you contact Amazon Help first to make sure everything is OK on that end with your account. If so, then contact Sonos Tech support.

Hi AjTrek1,

I do have 2 accounts UK and Australia.   I live in Australia and the music region is set to Australia.

Yes it's the same and states I have amazon music unlimited.

Will have to search for sync, couldn't find it after a quick look.

I've updated and uninstaller reinstalled many times

I will try again then maybe contact support.

Well, I can only go by what support say.  We tried various things and I sent a diagnostic which said network problems.   I did the same playlist and songs with youtube and no network problems.

@Willyeckerslike

Of course, but sometimes unfortunately they say things that people want to hear. There is no increased volume of Amazon Music complaint posts on here which is usually the litmus test for these things.

Hopefully others will have some excellent suggestions. I don’t subscribe to Amazon Music (I used to but had no issues at the time)…

Edit- how long have you had Amazon Music? I wonder if migrating your playlists as you have might take time to sync on Amazon’s servers.

I’ve only had it a day but I’d expect such small playlists to sync rather quickly.  Just one of them things I guess.  I’m looking at Spotify now although I will see a week out on Amazon to see if it improves.

Love the username, but the way. Especially that it’ll mean nothing to so many on here!
