I am sorry to hear of this issue you are having with marking favourite tracks on Plex or Bandcamp.

My ISP prevents the use of Plex (due to GCNAT), so I cannot test with Plex, but I just added our Bandcamp test account to my Sonos system and was able to mark a favourite track and have it show in Favourites without issue.

As a result, I recommend that you try removing both music services from your Sonos system, then add them back on again to see if that helps matters.

I did what you suggested to remove and re-add Plex. It’s the same issue, faved a song, and grey out. However I did find out the Mac version of Sonos app seems working fine, not only it can play those faved and grayed from iOS app, also it can fav a song and later playable in iOS app!

btw my Plex server version is 1.41.3.9314 , latest at the time of this post; my Sonos One, Ultra Arc and apps are all up-to-date.

Another thing I noticed is the delete Plex operation was taking very long and seemed spinning forever in the iOS app. After I force quit and open it again, the Plex service was gone, but so did “Sonos Favorites” and “Your Services” sections as well. And in “Edit Home”, there’s no options to bring them back. I had to re-installed the app to see them again.

While I can consider this workaround-able (glad I have a Mac with me), it does concern me that there are a few deeper issues in the app/service, hopefully they can be addressed soon.

Ah - thanks for reminding me! I removed a few test accounts from my system at the weekend and each one took a while longer than they should have - I’ll report this.

Regarding Plex, it appears that you are not alone:

In our own testing, we were unable to reproduce this issue, however.

Could you please post a screenshot of the Desktop app showing a Favourite from Plex available, and another of the mobile app showing the same Favourite greyed-out? Thanks. Please also submit a support diagnostic from the mobile controller, and let me know here when you have done so, but please don’t share the number given. Thanks.

I can confirm that there is an issue with playing Plex items from Sonos Favourites, and we are investigating. I have no estimate for when a fix might be put in place, but I will update this thread when I hear of one. Thanks again for the assist!
