Shuffle function missing from alarm playlist setup

The function to shuffle a selected playlist for an alarm is missing from the new app.  As a result, my alarm plays the same songs every day instead of playing different songs from my playlist.  Can this change be included in a future update please?

@Corry P  the shuffle function appears to be turned on now for playlist alarms.  Not sure if I just didn’t see that I had to scroll down before, but it’s there now.  Thank you!

Hi @JStevens

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I don’t know if the removal of this ability was intended to be permanent (I suspect not), but I don’t see it on the list of things yet to come.

Thank you - I've marked this thread as a feature request and it will be seen by the relevant teams for consideration. Keep the ideas coming!

Hi @JStevens

Well, that’ll teach me for not looking! I have got to stop listening to people! 😂

Thanks for updating the thread!

Hi @Gibsy

Sorry to hear the the shuffle function is not working with your alarms.

I recommend that you recreate the issue and submit a support diagnostic afterwards, then get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope they are able to assist.
