Whenever I control my sonos system volume using my iPhone the volume settings of my phone are also altered. Does this happen to anyone else and should it be happening? Thanks.

Hi Timsonos

Here are two options:

1. Delete and reinstall the Sonos app, if no joy then go to:

2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings *

* Click the link to learn what Option 2 affects: http://www.everythingicafe.com/reset-settings-on-iphone-ipad/

Cheers!

Hi there, Timsonos. Does this happen on other controllers or does this only happen on your iPhone? If this is isolated to just your iPhone, have you tried removing the app and reinstalling the app?

You can turn off the correlation between Sonos volume and phone volume under the iPhone settings...scroll down to sonos and turn off hardware volume control
