I just got a sonos beam and I can’t figure out how to set pair it with my TV remotes. It’s a Toshiba Fire TV. I already have Alexa set up and can control the commune through my voice but not on the remote. Does anyone know how to pair the two?

No idea what kind of remote a Toshiba Fire TV has, but Sonos does require an IR signal, so you'll need to be sure that it is sending that, rather than a bluetooth or other kind of signal.

Then you'd just follow the instructions here: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3402

Sorry, I fell into my own problem with jargon. When I said IR, I meant InfraRed.

The standard way to connect a Beam to your TV is by HDMI, on the HDMI-ARC connection your TV should have (https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202153760 says it’s HDMI 1). If you have followed this route you do not have to connect your remote to the Beam. Volume control is than governed by the HDMI; the volume on the Beam is taken from the signals your remote sends to the TV.
