Have you tried with Sonos Voice Control?
Conversely, it’s certainly possible that some members of your ‘group’ aren’t reachable by your network at the moment of execution of the command. Have you performed a simple network refresh by unplugging all the Sonos from power, rebooting your router, and waiting two minutes before plugging back in your Sonos?
I’d also be tempted to submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

The two are not the same, You cannot control Sonos groups with Alexa voice, and you cannot control Alexa groups with Sonos voice control.
