Beware this one’s a bumpy ride again. Music is playing but it can’t find a system on my network😳

 

I’d suggest waiting a day or two for this to stabilise. I now have a broken system….again. 
 

Keeps telling me to sign in but sign in button is ineffective.

App start up does not recognise my network.

Getting connection time outs even when it’s showing music is playing.

No streaming services working  

 

 Basically an unusable mess🙄

 

EDIT :Update…

After about an hour my system has stabilised. One of my Sonos Ones kept showing as not updated  this has now been fixed.

 

Positives

Album art works for every track in my local library, previously this was about 50%  

System seems faster

Trueplay now working again on iPhone 16pro  

So after a rocky update, of which my Internet provider may have played a part, things are looking good.

 

 

 

I did not have this negative experience. All updates to app and hardware installed without issue for me but I don't see any real changes either. On iOS with 9 speakers and Ace headphones.

Updates  UK (Hardware 80.2 - 59204 plus both software updates below) 

Album art back... app more responsive, especially Local Library. HOWEVER, there are still issues...

Albums downloaded on Local Library recently don't add to queue... Have synced library, updated firmware on QNAP, router reboot etc in recent weeks, which I do periodically anyway, and of course there was a complete reboot of hardware with new update prior to app update. 
Sonos Playlists only as far as D first 40 or so... Album art missing on Sonos Playlists created before May. 
Recently played shows no album art if album originates from Local Library. 

No indication from Local Library of hi-res/hd playing.

I use a dedicated iPad with a larger display to control my Sonos system with. I do that so I can have large artwork. With this update my artwork is now ¼ the size it was. So now on my iPad the artwork is tiny. Just another disappointment in a long string of them.

I have thousands of CDs ripped on a NAS drive and scrolling through the artists to get anywhere is brutal. The tabbed alphabetical shortcuts are gone. Again, something that use to work before the big upheaval has become a major pain in the ass.
