My system works flawless until it doesn't.I Ask Alexa to play audio, it turns on system and plays. At different amounts of time the audio stops and receiver shuts offI ask Alexa to play again and nothing happens. I go to integra app and switch on, begins playing. Shuts off again, look at “works with Sonos” room connected to port does not come up. Have to clear and room shows up. Begins working as expected, short time later, begins again. I have reset to factory settings, power cycled, reinstalled, etc, called integra, called warranty repair. They find its not a receiver issue.Works great with tv, works good through receiver alone with audio streaming. Switched inputs, Check connections and wiring. Nothing fixes, not hot or over heating.Has to be sonos port problem… All other sonos amps stream no issue, no issue with Alexa.Only integra/port has issue. Anyone experience this?
There is anyway to connect the tb to the ray soy bar through Bluetooth?
I have 2 connect units on the same LAN but widely separated. I’ll call them C1 and C2. Recently migrated all music from a Netgear NAS to a Synology NAS. The connect software is S1 as I have some old speakers that do not support S2. I’ve configured the Synology NAS to use NLTMv1 and SMB1 as instructed by the Synology community. All playback to speakers in the range of C1 work perfectly. However any attempt to payback to speakers in the range of C2 fail with an “access denied” message. Both C1 and C2 point to the same music library on the Synology NAS and have the same usercode/password. What’s going on?Thank you.
Podcasts seem to have disappeared from the search function on the new Sonos app - or am I missing something?
Looking to get the turntable and the Five for my dad but I keep asking more questions with even less answers. He really only needs a record player to play 78’s. He already has an older set up with his receiver (unknown brand to me) and his older equipment. I would like to spoil him and get him the Sonos edition turntable and the play five but I would imagine he would also like to hook it up to his existing equipment. He is not very tech savvy and still owns a flip phone but does have WiFi and my mother has an iPhone to help with anything past myself setting it up. Besides the turntable and Play Five, what else would I need to get? Would like to get all in one order instead of multiple and having to wait for anything to set up. Thank you all in advance for any answers!
I have a Sonos amp and I have a total of six ceiling speakers that run off the amp. Four of the speakers are in my great room and two of the speakers are on a porch. This was connected before and worked fine. With the recent update, I had to undo everything And now I am to the Point of connecting wires to the amp and can’t seem to get the rooms to work independent of each other. I want to be able to control the volume on the porch as well as in the great room. See the below pictures and give me direction on how to connect them to the amp, please. Thank you !
New Sonos app, existing system. Added Amp to system, fails at registration, after successfully entering PIN and pressing the sync button. WTH… usually Sonos products are rock solid.

Can someone help explain why some of my products have a network unavailable and there is no way of adding to them? My wifi has no issues
I am brand new to this community. I just recently purchased two Sonance amps with outdoor wall speakers. Salesman sold me on this was the best system out there. I installed both amps with speakers and have not been able to connect my mobile device with the amps. Already have spent hours waiting to be connected to sonos agents, along with the hours of having sonos techs running me through the setup and trouble shooting procedures over and over. Also spoke with my internet provider about my modem, and having to slow it down to 2.4 ghz for the sonos amps. So far nothing has helped. I have spent over 2200 dollars for the sonos amps and speakers and I am ready to rip it all out and return it for a full refund. Would love to get the help I need but there is only one avenue that is to call again and wait over an hour to talk to a tech. I need help now or I am gone ! I’ve had my Connect Gen 2 running on my mesh (Deco) wifi for about 6 months without any major issues. In the last 2 weeks it suddenly won’t hold a connection to the wifi; at best it’ll start playing, then drop out within about 2 minutes, other times the app just won’t show the Connect as being available. My various Play:1s and Beam are all fine running on the same mesh wifi; and the wifi pods themselves haven’t moved. Both the Deco mesh app and the sonos app say the Connect has a strong wifi signal - SNR of about 50db. I’ve set up fixed IP addresses for each speaker through the router. I’ve updated the Sonos app (the new app really is awful). And I still can’t get this fixed. Any recommendations/ solutions much appreciated!
I have a Connect:Amp that I think is gen2, but I’m completely unable to get it added to my existing S2 system. Here’s what I’ve done so far:Factory reset at least 6 times Setup a new S1 system, and it adds just fine and streams music just fine Installed an update when I did this Tried factory resetting again after being on teh S1 system… And then try adding to S2… It sees the Amp and says it needs an update Attempt to install the update fails with error 1002 Try again… fails same way Factory reset and try it all again… fails same way I’ve tried with the amp on both ethernet and wifi. When I was trying this last week (before getting it on the S1 system), it would attempt to install the update… very slowly the progress bar would fill… until it just hanged completely. Now it won’t even try at all. I tried opening the sonos app on my mac try force a system update (saw someone mention that in another thread)… the app froze when I did this. When I force quit and reopened it, it said no u
Do you have to set up the arc first? Before the sub because we did set up the sub first and now we can not get the arc to set up. My second question is if I hooked up via wifi but need to move the system can I set up the arc with Ethernet cable or do I have to reset the system? Thanks for your help and input.
Since the latest Sonos app I’ve been having lots of trouble with my system which has for the last 8-9 years been really very reliable. Now it consistently struggles to play music on my 2-off Connects. it shows connected but most times I try to play anything I just see a message ‘unable to connect please try again later’. The new app is so laggy and clunky, really, what was wrong with the old app 🙄
Comment faire pour utiliser ma paire de ERA 300 comme haut parleur pour mon pc portable Moderator edit:Google Translate-How do I use my pair of ERA 300s as speakers for my laptop?
Hello Community,I am trying to connect my Sonos Era 300 to my PC. I wanted to do that with the bluetooth function but I can’t find the Sonos Device on my PC. The only way I can connect it with my PC is with the XBOX Device function but I cannot play music with that. I can connect the Sonos Era 300 to my phone with bluetooth but not with my PC. Is there any way to fix that?Thank you
On the Dutch language community I’ve seen a few posts about people having to pull the Boost because it is not visible anymore in the app and the speakers will not connect to it. Strangely I’ve not come across a mention of this on the (more populated) English language community.Since I own a Boost and have been able to stall any updates of firmware and app, I would like to know if anyone has seen problems with the Boost caused by the latest software or related to the new app.
I’m having issues connecting my gen 2 amp. I have connected the amp to wifi but when trying to add the amp in the app it’s searching but not finding it. I have tried a hard reset, reinstalling the app, resetting wifi. im really at a loss!
Hello, has anyone else had any issues with their Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Sonos Edition Turntable? My right channel output was not working and had to send it in for warranty repair. It’s been 3 months (55 business days) and I still do not have my turntable returned to me. Pro-Ject USA (FineSounds America) does not even respond when I ask for an update. Very discouraging especially when the turntable was defective from day one.
I have a Sonos Connect that keeps sending Remote Access attempts to my Desktop PC which was verified by the IP. My Anti-virus is blocking these attempts as SMB:BruteForce as the threat name. I believe it started when I installed the update yesterday and the attempt happens every 2-10 minutes. I have 2 other Connects in my system that haven't attempted this. I have the unit powerd down at the moment. Would I really be compromised through a Connect? Should I be concerned? Just another issue after dealing with the app fiasco.
The background:I am new to SONOS. Learning as I go. I’m a network guy and audio enthusiast, but several SONOS issues are driving me nuts. The task:I was just told I’m taking over management of my boss’ SONOS system. At least 20 devices of every conceivable variety. First task: install a new amp and speakers. The problem:The app finds the amp, tells me I need to update. Update fails. Codes mostly 1000, sometimes 1002. I’ve set it up directly under the access point. I’ve wired it into the router. Same messages. No idea what I’m missing. Info from the app is basicaly basic and fundamentaly useless, unless I’m looking in the wrong spot.Have I committed any glaring errors. No need to be gentle. I need unvarnished help / truth here.
Updating from S1 to S2 and updating and older port. The circle of death been there for several hours. Did a factory reset and here again. No errors just never finishes. Any ideas?
Ok this is what I have. Loft setup: beam, sub, 2 one SLLiving room: ARCDen: TT connected to external phono preamp connected to connect gen 2 how do I configure the TT to use Living Room and Loft together and individually. Ive gotten it to work however when I go to use my Living Room or Loft the system isn’t connected to the TVs any more. any insight is much appreciated.
To play TV (Samsung OLED) through Sonos the Sonos system now requires the TV to be connected as a device. This means that the TVs volume control is now only via the Sonos App. We have >1 user of the TV & formerly the TV volume control was maintained via the TV remote that everyone n the family could use. This seems not to be possible now. So I have to forego using the player so others can access the TVs normal volume control. Any ideas please?
