HiPrimary side mosfets were toast. I have replaced burned MOSFETS primary side and diodes. Now it powers on and when I start to play something I get orange white blinking LED. I measured all voltages are ok 3.3, 5,12 but not sure for 36v as the reading shows only15volts. Is this ok. Does voltage rise when playing or can be something else like power supply output schotky diodes which they look fine also. What triggers amber-white statusPlease help
Wat kan ik doen om mn sonos luidsprekers weer te connecten met sonos? Ik heb een port die met bowes/wilkins boxen communiceert en ik heb een sonos luidspreker die nu niet meer te vinden is.
I just recently updated my Sonos app and I am finding it really hard to follow. I almost always use the app to play music from my turntable via the line entrance; however, there doesn’t seem to be a direct link to the line entrance in the new version of the app and only after some (wasted) time of the record playing the app finally recognizes the line input and will start playing. This is a horrible experience. I want my money back. And I still haven’t said anything about volume control. It’s absolutely horrendous. Please fix these issues NOW!!!
Why is the line in when using a turn table so so flakey. This is so frustrating. Why can’t this be fixedcan someone from Sonos please help. I watch tv then turn it off. Then I play vinyl. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. It shouldn’t be this hit and miss. I’m using a Sonos amp gen 2 with a project turn table
All of the sudden my 2 connects keep dropping off after playing for a minute or two. Called tech support and after waiting for over 70 minutes they rep keeps blaming my network…. I said to him if my network was the issue wouldn’t my other 6 units have the same issues, his response, “you have a point...”Is anyone else have issues with connects ?
I am no longer able to set my Sonos port to variable volume output since the new software was updated. Where can I locate this to be able to change the port to variable volume versus fixed volume where it is currently at?
I would like to achieve the following with the least amount of hardware, if possible:Use the Sonos Beam 2 soundbar bundle to connect w/ TV for audio (Family Room) Add 2 Eras 300 speakers for surround (Family Room) Add 2 Eras 100 speakers for music (Patio) Add Sonos Amp with a pre-amp to support a turntable (Family Room)Questions:Will this setup work? Assuming the Home Theater will work, can I use this to play music from the turntable and other services in Family Room? Can I use this setup to play music on patio, while using HT components for movie? Bonus: Can I play music from turntable on Patio? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello, let me first start by saying i am not a complete novice. i have 9 Sonos Devices and have bought broken units and self repaired 3 of them. that being said, i can NOT GET THIS STUPID THING TO UPDATE upon setup. i bought a used Connect:Amp from Marketplace. i tested before i left their house and it was working fine, but i forgot and didnt transfer ownership before leaving. i can successfully perform a factory reset and get to the blinking green LED and i can even add it to my system. however, on the system settings page of the app, i get a message that says ‘Connect:Amp is not registered’ and when i click it, i get the option to ‘fix it’. the setup screen pops up again and and prompts to get an update before continuing and that is when i cant continue. i get Error 1,002. i cannot get this thing to complete (or even start) and update. not on wifi, not over ethernet, i have moved it to different locations including right next to the router… I even tried to use the S1 app but since
I have a new home with a stereo wall system with 8 wired speakers and wanted to be able to also connect my Sonos speakers to play simultaneously throughout my home. I have 1 Beam, 1 Arc, and about 8 Sonos Ones that I am trying to get to play music at the same time as the wall stereo system wired speakers. I bought a Sonos port but am unable to play all at the same time (it is either play the wired speakers via blue tooth only or play my Sonos speakers only but not altogether). Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

I just added a turntable to my Sonos setup via Sonos Port. Great news- everything added very easily and I was hopeful there wouldn’t be any sync/delay issues, which there aren’t. However the sound is drastically lower quality than listening to the same songs via Spotify, and especially Tidal and Amazon Music. Obviously the sound quality will be less using vinyl. But the difference is so drastic that it looks like my new record player will be for aesthetics only =PTo the vinyl pros out there- what’s your experience? I’m getting very little bass from my record player. Sound is not nearly as full. And the Sonos app doesn’t allow me to change the EQ by input, only per speaker. And I have my speakers tuned just as I like them for streaming, and I don’t want to have to adjust every time I switch to vinyl & back. thoughts???

Hi, looking for some advice on setup. Here is my current set up:I am so far unable to set this up for app free use. It feels like something very simple that i am missing. I just want to be able to watch tv with sonos, then turn it off and play records via port….and vice versa without using the app. Its important as if im not home, wife/kids should be able to use either.thanks for your time.

I got a Port to replace my ZP80 which was glitching its connection to my S1 system. I find difficulty installing the Port in this S1- system and wold appreciate some advice
I have a connect:amp and since it doesn’t have airplay i bought a port to get airplay. I can see the port in my airplay options and when I select it I can see the music playingBUT when I group the port with my connect:amp I don’t hear the music. I spoke with support and they are telling me there is some issue with the app but I don’t understand what that has to do with airplay when I’m not using the appAirplay also works perfectly fine to my devices that have airplay built in. I know its not the port because I went to buy another one just to make sure.
just another issue to log after the update. I have 2x arc/sub/amp for surrounds set up in my house. both amps stopped working after the app update. i restarted one amp, and router, and re-added the surrounds. still not working. AMP seems stand alone in the app. not longer the Arc + Sub L+R showing anymore. After wasting a few hrs on the support line and not even talking to anyone i’ve decided just to wait until they update this wretched app.
I have a Sonos Beam speaker and want to connect it to a Sony Bluetooth record player ( PS-LX310BT) but I do not know the correct adapter to purchase.Would be most grateful for your support to identify the specification of the correct adapter required please Looking at Amazon web site I see 2x Mcbazel RCA to Hdmi adapters and 1 Aidhdauf but I do not know is there a better adapter to all 3 of these to purchase that is superior with respect to its connection or which one of the 3 Amazon adaptors is best to purchase When I see the term Composite CUBS mentioned on Amazon items - I have no idea of it’s meaningModerator edit: Combined posts
Sonos Amp Gen 2.I have had both ethernet access and wifi access for years. I have a NAS device on which I store my music library and run the Plex music service. I can no longer connect using my iPhone. When I disconnect the ethernet cable I can then connect via my iPhone.
Specs: mainboard: TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI VGA: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 TiI bought Beam 2 and want to connect with a PC but no sound can be heard from the HDMI port base on the mainboard or VGA, I changed to using Sonos HDMI to optical but still silent, what do I need to config or do something to beam 2 working? Thanks a lot.
I’m trying to fix a “no power” Connect:Amp Gen 2 and made great progress - before it all went wrong.Fix: Fuse was blown and two MOVs on the VPRI/VMID rails were low resistance. I replaced these, reassembled enough to test it, and it booted! The app found it, added it to a room, and then said it needed an update. This went ahead but the unit didn’t come back afterwards.Current: It powers up (3.3V and 5V rails fine), turns on the white LED for 4 seconds, this then goes off for 18 seconds, and then it repeats. While the LED is off, the Ethernet lights are flashing as expected, so I guess MAC and PHY have been initialised. It will not go into factory reset mode by holding play/pause when powering up.Theories: 1) it was bricked during the update and I’m screwed, 2) there is a fault elsewhere that the previous firmware didn’t detect but this firmware does. I see chat elsewhere about 36V to the riser board, but my reading of the PCB is that the riser just enables the MOSFETS to supply DC to t
