Hi,

I am having difficulty connecting to my new Arc which was bought as part of home theatre. Sub and 2 x One SL have no issues.

I’ve spoken with help line and we discovered that 2.4GHz wasn’t working on  my modem. This has now been rectified following a reset of the modem as instructed by Telstra and I can connect to 2.4GHz on iPhone and iPad.

I am still unable to connect to the Arc.

Can someone please let me know if I have set the modem up incorrectly

I have a Telstra Modem - Technicolor DJA0231

Software version 20.3.c

Firmware version 20.3.c.0389-MR20-RA

The 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless networks have different names and passwords

2.4GHz Interface settings are

Enabled

Standard 802.11  b/g/n

Channel 11

Channel width 20GHz

Short Guard Interval - On

Cyclic Delay Diversity - Auto

Space Time Block Code - Off

Output Power 100%

2.4Ghz Access Point settings are

Enabled

Broadcast SSID - On

Security Mode   WPA2 PSK

WPS - On

WPS AP Pin  - not selected

WPS AP PIN Code -  8 digit number which doesn’t look as if it can be changed

WPS Device PIN Code   empty box

Protected Management Frames - Enabled

Band Steering Enabled - Off

Do these settings look correct?

Is there anything else I am missing?

Thanks for any help

Tim

Not familiar with your router. However, Try turning off WPS. It can be problematic and is also a security risk. Also, turn off Airtime Fairness if enabled.

Also not familiar with Telestra, but I’d be tempted to temporarily hardwire the Arc to the router, to prove to myself that it was an actual WiFi issue, as opposed to something else.
