Suddenly Apple Music won't play

Forum|alt.badge.img

As of today, all of a sudden Apple Music won’t play - or plays one song, then stops.

I’ve done the following:

  • Unplugged then plugged back in the Sonos speaker
  • Restarted my wifi router
  • Reauthorized my Apple Music account
  • Removed and then readdd my Apple Music account

No matter what I do, the issue persists. I am able to play my Apple Music playlists using the native music app and airplay - I just can’t play Apple Music using the Sonos app.

Hundreds of dollars spent on equipment and I can’t even get a response to a support inquiry.

I like the idea of Sonos but I am afraid I cannot recommend these products, since I can’t even get an answer to a question about basic functionality.

This is still happening, it’s been happening all day with no cause that I can find. The real-time status page has all greens. The Sonos system otherwise works perfectly, and I can play Apple Music via the Apple app on my laptop and iPhone just fine.
