We have a sonos amp and are wondering if it can be used similar to a receiver to have both a karaoke machine and a mic mixer sound output?

All Sonos analog inputs have a minimum of a 75 ms delay, which makes Sonos somewhat unfit for use as karaoke or microphone amplification. The digital input of HDMI-ARC on home theater devices is slightly less, but getting a normal signal transferred to HDMI-ARC (not standard HDMI) can be difficult.

Many of us suggest using normal speakers for this use, not networked speakers like Sonos.

Sonos doesn’t work well with a mike due to the delay.

You can use the RCA Analog inputs with the proper pre-amp but that is best for a CD or turnatble
