Turntable Through Port Drop Outs.
Nad C558, NAD PP2E PreAmp, Sonos Port, Boost, Play Bar, Sub, 2x Play 1’s, 2x Play 3’s, One, Move I have recently added a Turntable, Pre Amp and Port to my expanding system. My issue is drop outs. I have set buffering to maximum and also selected compressed audio but the issue remains. It’s so bad that I can’t realistically use the Turntable. I’m hoping that its a set up issue and that I can sort this. Any ideas?
Sonos speaker connecting to wrong mesh point.
Hi there, I’m a long time user of Sonos products, all the way to the first Play:3. Lately, I updated my whole system with Sonos ones, beam, move etc… but am encountering one very frustrating issue : I updated my home wifi with an AMPLIFI Alien mesh system, that works wonderfully and provides very reliable and fast connection everywhere in my apartment, but all my speakers connect only to the main router, no matter how far they are from it, instead of the mesh point which is about 2 meters from the speaker. This causes a lower quality connection speed, and this occasional dropouts and disappearances of the speaker from the app. I tried unplugging the Sonos, bringing it closer etc, but nothing helps. Both access points share the same ssid and the Sonos speaker is my only product behaving this way. I submitted a diagnostic : 17083864 Thanks for your help!
Netgear Nighthawk - system dropping/product cannot be found
We have recently switched from a Google Home mesh network to a Netgear Nighthawk system.We previously had no issues with connectivity but as we are a long house with one, yes ONE lan point, we are reliant on a mesh network to ensure strong signal throughout our home.Since installing this, we’ve consistently had issues with products (specifically our Move) dropping out and our system dropping out completely.I am not suuuper make tech savvy and have seen loads of articles on setting up a central wifi point for the system but I’m a little at a loss I’ve logged a diagnostic report with the number 935382745 and would appreciate some guidance as Australian support number isn’t operational on the weekends.

Sonos 2 21.01 forcing update system unusable
I opened my sonus interface and was greeted with a notification to upgrade. So I am okay with that but cannot get past below screen: Also “Help → About” shows all my speakers correctly but under “System” I’m missing ½ my speakers :-( I was happy with this sound solution now not so much…..
Connect:Amp - Mesh Wifi - Sonos App connects to wrong node and will not see Connect:Amp
I have several Connect:Amp(s) wired via Ethernet directly into my Calix Fiber mesh router. This mesh router also is broadcasting a wifi 6 signal as 1 of 2 mesh access points. The other 1 AP is upstairs. They are both using the same SSID.From the router, all of my Connect:Amp(s) are on the network with a white LED light showing. If I can get my cellphone using the Sonus S1 app to connect to the main router wifi signal, it can see the Connect:Amp(s). When I walk upstairs and the Sonus S1 app seamlessly connects to the other mesh node and voila, the Sonus S1 app no longer sees my Sonus system and i have to follow the threads to reconnect after a router change.Besides downgrading to a non-mesh WiFi; using separate access points with separate SSIDs, what can I do?TIA

Dear SonosSince the latest upgrade the search facility has ceased to work on the S1 controller. However thr browse function continues to work. So if I want to look at all the music I have where Beethoven is the composer Iwas used to choosing 'search' entering 'Beethoven ' then choosing Beethoven in the composer option. Now the app just closes when I try to use that method. However, if I choose 'Browser then 'Composers' I can scroll down to Ludwig can Beethoven and get the information that way. The latter method is much more laborious. I have tried deleting abd reinstalling the app, clearing my phone cache, reindexing my music but nothing helps.Do you have any other suggestions?
The app change the volume of the phone.
This is a problem which was reported and solved few years ago and now is back. The app should not affect the volume of the phone or at least the user should have the option to control the volume of SONOS from the side buttons of the phone or only opening the app.
Playbar has no signal

Geluid valt weg op Playbar en One.

Sound cutting in and out or no sound at all
We have 6 speaker areas installed in the house for a year and it’s super annoying as the sound keeps cutting out. I often have to increase the volume and then it works but often it cuts of soon after. Very unreliable. Any ideas on how I can get this solved? Thanks
Playbase wireless issue.
Hey folksThe wireless of my Playbase stopped working. It does not show in the app. It only works when conneted to LAN.I had to connect also one of the surrounds (Play:1) to LAN to make the second surround work via WLAN.I submitted a diagnostics with number 1433264246 from my sonos app.BestRob
Drop outs again on vinyl.
I have an Audio Technica turntable plugged into my Play 5. It plays fine in the room over the 5 but in some of the other rooms there are intermittent dop outs of the audio. I have done a full internet reset and reconfigured the lounge home theatre set up I have (sonos beam and 2 Play 3’s as surround. I only tend to play the vinyl over this at night and have relatively few devices being use at the same time. Please could you advise as to how I might solve the problem. I have 2000ms as an audio delay which helped for a while.
PlayBar sound drop outs.
We are experiencing persistent sound dropping out on Playbar/sub/play 1 when playing music only, not when playing from the connected TV (via optical). The playbar is connected by Ethernet to the router. Any other speakers in group with it keep playing the music stream when the living room drops out for up to 2-5 seconds at a time. The time between events varies upto 30 minutes, but it has just happened 4 times in 5 minutes. I submitted a diagnostic after the first 2 (reference 1636439061). Anybody any ideas?
Website Product Review - Something Went Wrong
In response to email requesting product review of Move, I tried to create the product review on the Sonos website; however, it keeps saying something when wrong, and said something about browser ad blocker. I tried four different browsers, disabled add blocking on all, and always get the same response. I then tried on iPhone and that too had same message. I then logged into my data center (I develop commercial software applications) and used the browser from that server and that too had the same message. It looks to me like the product review page is broken.
Sonos:One Gen 2 wont update error 1014.
Hello there, I just got a Sonos One Gen 2 and it needs to update, I proceed to do the update but it does not gets installed. The error it shows is error 1014.Ive tried the troubleshoot to try and fix the issue but with no success.Can anyone please shed some light on this issue?
An artwork question that's different to the norm..
Issue l am having involves a single album artwork. All other artwork for the +3000 albums are fine. The issue is that for this single album the artwork doesn’t appear on the Ipad app. I have added the .jpg within the folder and correctly named it ‘folder’. It is within the parameters of resolution size. I have replaced the artwork with an entirely different .jpg and still doesn’t appear. I have also removed the album folder from the iTunes library, deleted it from iTunes and then updated the Sonos music index. Once that has updated l have added album to iTunes again, updated Sonos but still doesn’t appear. There is nothing particularly unusual about album other than a single track lasting over 15 minutes but l have other albums like that and the artwork appears with no issue.Ideas anyone? Thanks
Amazon Music divorced both my Sonos speakers without my approval. 😞
All of a sudden Amazon Music will not play on either of my Sonos speakers. I have tried to reauthorize and I get an error code. I deleted app and reinstalled. nothing has worked. And, when I try to send a diagnostic it keeps saying it can’t send at this time. Help!
Sonos:AMP temperature hitting 140 degrees!?!?
I just opened my cabinet and my Sonos AMP’s are HOT… I mean REALLY hot. I just measured with a meat thermometer and the middle unit on a 3 stack of Amp’s was over 140 degrees.It seems crazy hot for electronics and a long-term fire risk. I moved the Amp’s to three stacks of two each to eliminate a middle unit, but is there something else I should be doing??
