Two songs, identical set up - yet the tags for one is not recognised by Sonos
I have a number of songs where Sonos does not recognise the artist from the field in iTunes, and some more where it doesn’t recognise either the song name or artist - in which case it just shows up as a file name in the Sonos playlists.Good examples below - two tracks from the same artist, Avicii (may he rest in peace). As you can see the set up in iTunes is identical - yet in Sonos, for one track the information is received fine, but not recognised at all for the othr. Thoughts/comments/suggestions?
My pair of sono one sometimes silent and sometimes out of sync
Diagnostic no 1820201175 my pair of speakers used to worka week earlier started short silence, resume, silence, resume, just like laggingand specifically when use the Netflix app on Apple TV 4K, sound suddenly goes out of sync, I can hear the actor spoke twice of a sentence. I need to reconnect the speakers to make it work again, but a while later it will go crazy again appreciate it to give my some hints to fix it
Speaker (play5) makes a shh sound on the right side
One of my speakers (play5) makes a shhh sound on the right side. This speaker has rarely been used. A few months ago I noticed it had this shhh sound on one side of the speaker. The sound starts about 5 min into playing the music and stops about 5 min after the music stops. I tried moving it around the house and it is the same at all locations. None of the other identical speakers have this issue. Do you know what is causing this issue and can it be corrected?
Sonos AMP Stops playing on different platforms
Hello, we have a problem with our sonos amp. When we are playing music from Spotify etc. he on random moments stops playing. Amp is connected with cable to internet. We moved device to other location and problem is same. We tried factory defaults and firmware upgrade but nothing help. Can I please for some tips, what should we check.Thanks
Sonos Play 5 Static News While On or Off
I have purchased over 11 speakers so I’m a bit concerned that I can’t find a quick answer. My Play 5 starting making a static news while on or off? I disconnected...Moved to a different room...reconnected and it’s the same issue. While off the static news is low...while playing the static news is more pronounced. Can this be repaired?
iPhone Resetting Network
So I was having a nightmare with the sonos app after adding Roam. Literally zero speakers showing up - no playbar, Play 1’s or Roam. Did all the usual - unplugged/replugged in speakers, switched router off and on, etc. Nothing worked. However, noticed my wife was having no issues - exact same model of phone and version of the app. this led me to my own device so I went into the setting and did a reset on the network settings, rejoined the WiFi network and now everything is as it should be. thought it useful to share as its good when these rabbit holes actually have a simple fix!
3 Sonos playing tune-in radio and it regularly drops out, usually in the mornings!
So, I have two Sonos Play:1s and 1one gen2. They are synced to provide music (via Tune-in radio) throughout the house but I find they frequently drop out and I have to restart the app. This also some=times happens if I am streaming spotify (premium) Wifi is working and available because I can see the signal and access internet. There are no other significant bandwidth drains one the network at the time (e.g. no TV or other video streaming). Anyone got any ideas please as it is annoying. Thanks
Disconnect Sonos Bridge?
I have a hybrid S1 & S2 system along with the old Sonos Bridge. Can I disconnect the bridge and operate all equipment? 1 new Sonos Amp 2 old Sonos Amps, one S1 and one S2 1 Sonos Play 5I access the system via my PC and iOS devices. I have very good Internet speed, i.e. gigabit service, and fairly good WiFi, AT&T combination router & modem and 1 booster device. I do have 52 things on my network, cameras, switches, thermostats and so on. Thanks.
My Sonos One shows "thumbnail" artwork other than relevant to the track playing
I use my Sonos One to play mp3, wav, wma tracks ripped to the C: on my laptop. For some reason, many of the tracks display incorrect artwork when playing. For example I am looking at Karen and Richard Carpenter whilst listening to Mark Knopfler.Any suggestions please?Thanks,PeeWee

I'm waiting for a contact from sonos to replace a speaker. An email should have arrived with the instructions to follow but 4 days have already passed and I have not received anything yet. it seems strange. what are the average times? I am in Italy...Sorry for my english...thank you
Play 5 Gen 2 causing skipping
I added a Play 5 Gen 2 to my old Sonos system. When I group everything (soundbar, sub, 2 play 3s, 2 older play 5s & move) and stream music like Pandora it is perfect. When I play anything off my TV it skips. When I remove the Play 5 Gen 2 it stops skipping. I added an extra Boost next to the Play 5 Gen 2 and it did not help.Clearly something about any TV sound output and this Play 5 Gen 2 any ideas?
Connecting AirPlay 2 with Sonos speaker system
Hi one and all, I’ve had a terrible time connecting my AirPlay on my Apple devices - iPad and iPhone - to my Sonos speakers. It would connect with some one or two of the Sonos One speakers but not with the Beam. And I couldn’t get the system to group. After trying everything I saw on community chat sites like this I tried the trusty last resort. I went around and switched off the Sonos speakers one after the other (and my Sonos Port for good measure) and then turned them back on again. That was five days ago and they have worked a dream ever since. Hope this helps someone. Regards.
