Connect amp outdoor protection case
Has anyone placed connect amp outdoors in a weather proof protective case? I wonder if a closed case would cause the unit to overheat.

Yes, some people have. You need an enclosure that has a built in fan to remove heat. If you google "Sonos amp outdoor enclosure", you'll see some options.. I don't have one myself so can't recommend a specific one. A vendor mention is in a post a couple months ago, but I don't recall the brand.
