UPDATE guys!
Having taken my Denon AVR off my network, I am now on track 11 of an album with no stopping or skipping... pointing towards Airplay on the Denon being the problem.
I don't need the Denon permanently connected anyway.... so problem possibly solved (not wanting to tempt fate)!!
So thank you guys.... really appreciate your help and pointing me in the right direction!!
