I’m looking for speakers to pair with my Sonos Amp. I’m looking at the Dali Menuet SE, KEF LS50 Meta or B&W 706 s3.  Has anyone tried any of these speakers with a Sonos amp and if so what are their thoughts? Alternatively does anyone have any other speakers they can recommend.

FYI I mainly use the amp for my home cinema and listen to music now and again.

I would love to hear people’s thoughts?

The only thing to consider,  aside from your own ears, when picking speakers for the Sonos Amp are the efficiency and power ratings. If they are a good match for the Amp it will drive them well.

You would be well served to find (non-audiophile) reviews of the various speakers you are considering but then follow that up by actually listening to the top contenders. If you have no starting point crutchfield com has useful resources.

Buying any audio component based on other folks ears is often an expensive error.

Following audiophile recommendations will at least provide amusement to your friends when you admit what you did.

A recent topic here highlighted the essential need to replace of Sonos power cords with audiophile quality ones to avoid horrid sonic results. Many earlier ones have provided similar amusement. If it was just wasting your money it would be funnier but many of these "essential" modifications/tweaks will actually hurt the sound, like the audiophile site's recommendation to avoid WiFi and Ethernet connections (giving the highest quality connection) and instead use Bluetooth with the many limitations it brings.

OK, I looked at the speakers you listed and my first thought was they are not much for a lot of money.

Personally, if looking for a tiny speaker like these I'd pick up a pair of Sonos Era-100s.

If I was looking to fill a room with sound and didn't need tiny a pair of Sonos Fives would be my choice.

To boost either far beyond the sound of the ones you listed add a Sub 4, many find that not needed with the Fives but a nice addition to the 100s.

Go out and listen. Get something that sounds good to you.

For TV use you would be well served by an Arc Ultra, more sound and lower cost.

Possibly add a Sub 4 and surrounds, still not too far off your price point.
