I have a “problem “ with my Sonos arc ultra : every time when i turn off my tv I still hear on the soundbar the sound of another tv channel for  30 seconds, every time its the sound of same tv channel , I don’t understand what is the problem, where I’m wrong, can someone tell me what to do?

Regardless of which TV channel I watched, after turning off the TV, the sound of the same channel can still be heard 30 seconds from my Sonos arc ultra sound bar , after 30 seconds sound it’s gone and silence.

Have you tried anything to resolve it?

Turn off and unplug tv, set top box etc, and your Sonos Ultra. Wait five minutes and then power them on again. See if that helps.

In addition, I’d check the TV for updates.

Sonos plays what it is handed. If the TV is continuing to send data to the Arc Ultra, it will play it.

It’s most likely your set-top box for cable. You have to program the box to turn-off when using its or your TV remote. My set-top box does the same until I figured out how to silence it when turning off my TV. You may have to contact your provider.

If it’s not a set-top box causing the issue it’s probably another streaming device. That definitely points to something with the TV itself causing some type of input cross- talk.

I tried that and still have this problem :((

Tomorrow I will go to my tv & internet provider, I hope to resolve this problem, I don't know how to set TV box to shut down when I turn off my TV, it's a small box with one optic fiber in and two outputs for TV and internet, nothing to set-up

My TV have last firmware, with my old Soundbar Yamaha  I haven’t had any problems like this.

The simple fact is, the Sonos receives its audio from the TV, via ARC. If there’s nothing sent, then nothing plays.
