sub mini disconnects from beam when tv is turned off

I have the beam soundbar connected via HDMI (eARC), with a Sub Mini connected wirelessly to the beam.   Each time I turn the tv off, the sub disconnects from the Beam.  I have to unplug the Beam, then power it back on - the sub reconnects.  Any suggestions to keep the Sub Mini connected to the Beam?

That’s odd. As far as I’m aware, there is no connection between the TV being on and the connection between the Sub mini and the Beam.

When you’re powering down the TV, there isn’t a similar ‘no power’ situation being extended to the Beam,  correct? The power should remain ‘on’ to the Beam, so it would maintain the ‘hidden’ 5 GHz connection to the Sub Mini.

Have you called Sonos Support to discuss it?

Thanks for the reply.   It is odd.  I contacted Sonos and was told it was an issue with the Wi-Fi, but that isn’t the case bc once it pairs, it stays connected until I turn the tv off.   Then it loses pairing until I reboot the beam.   I’m perplexed.

I'd get it to happen again, submit a diagnostic and call Sonos support, usually the phone folks are more help

Thanks Stanley_4.    Tried that and was told my internet provider is the issue.  Absolutely not the case bc it’s working currently after the aforementioned reboot.    But as soon as the TV is turned off, I have to do it all over again. I may try using the optical output,  but I’d rather not take the TV off the wall to access it - and I don’t think that is the issue.
