Unfortunately, not enough information to help.

Random questions:

Is your Sonos connected to the ARC port on the TV?

Which QNED, by model number, is it?

Is CEC turned on in the TV’s audio settings?

Are you running S1 or S2?

Did it ever work?

Have you submitted a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and called Sonos Support to discuss it? Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, Sonos’ lawyers get sensitive about GDPR, I suspect. And don’t trust the chat ‘bot, try a phone call…and if you did, tell us what they told you?

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos syste

Your “Beam G2” is a Beam (Gen 2)? What does “will not work properly” mean exactly?

I set it up right out of box and everything was great for a week or 2. Than it started to not respond to volume changes but I could change volume with the app only. I used the sonos AI assistant to fix the issue (took 2 hours) with every remedy step possible. 1 day later I was right back to not working. I can see the remote working on the screen and the Beam inputting the volume change but no volume level change work. I did all the proper reset processes but its the only part that will not change or work again. Thank you for any help on this.

Avoid Factory Reset without additional consult with SONOS support or a seasoned Community member. A Factory Reset might accidentally, temporarily improve the situation, but is rarely a fix for a fundamental issue. And, the Factory Reset involves a lot of extra work.
