I have a Sonos system that I can control with the Sonos app on my Mac system,  I’m wondering if I can get any of my Sonos devices to show up as Source on my Mac system?

If the Sonos are AirPlay 2 capable, they should show up in the AirPlay 2 menu.

But as a source? I’m not quite sure what a Mac System is, but the only way that audio from Sonos can be sent to another 3rd party system is via the outputs on a Sonos Port.

I was taking the assumption that the OP didn’t mean ‘as a source’ but as a destination. Sonos can’t be a ‘source’. Unless, as you suggest, the output from a Port to some analog input on the Mac.

Good catch. Early morning assumptions ;)
