Nintendo Switch 2 Test Output plays subwoofer test sound from Arc

First time poster, so not really sure if I’m posting in the right area to share what seems like a bug, but with my Nintendo Switch 2, Sonos Arc + surrounds + Sub mini, and LG C5, running the NS2 test output plays the SW test tone too audibly (IMO) through the Arc. Sonos app correctly shows Multichannel PCM 5.1 and all the other test tones are appropriate, but it seems like the subwoofer audio just isn’t playing from where it should be.

This is a Sonos community, so you’re likely to get response from others in the public, but only very few Sonos moderators are here, and they often don’t interact much. You’re better off submitting a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and calling Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, their lawyers get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

You’d get a much higher chance by calling in with hard data of your concern being passed on to someone that can determine if it is a true bug, or just an issue with the ‘test tones’ being generated by your Switch. FWIW, test tones aren’t that great of a test, it seems, based on other posts here, although better for Dolby Digital than Atmos, it seems.
