I live in Iceland and I purchased ARC ultra and wanted to connect it to my Google home account, like any other devices I have are connected to. When I try to connect the Arc to Google home I am told that Sonos is not supported in my country, even when the product is being sold in Iceland.
When may I expect the service available in Iceland? The product is not cheep, I would like to be able to use it.
+17Sonos is expensive yes, but you can use them very well without a voice assistant.
Unfortunately if voice control determines weather you keep the speakers or not, Sonos may not be the brand for you at this time:
Sonos also needs to receive authorization from the other company before ‘utilizing’ their tech. In this case, Google has to allow Sonos to use the Google Home account…and Google has changed the minimum requirements, it seems, to stop companies from allowing that setup. Older devices are ‘grandfathered’, but newer devices like the Arc Ultra are not.
Is the Sonos voice control, SVC an option?
