I cannot get my Ray to connect to a new network

I have tried countless times to get my Sonos Ray to connect to my wifi and while it will connect if I put it into the router via an ethernet connection the moment I move it to the room I want to use it in it doesn’t find the network and won’t work.

I am at my wits end with this product. Anyone got any suggestions? thanks

While it is connected (wired) have you checked that the radio (WiFi) is turned off? Might be worth toggling it, too. You want it ‘on’.

I’d also be tempted, while it is wired and showing up, to submit a system diagnostic , and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, their lawyers get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

And if you have other Sonos devices, you can, without fear, factory reset it…but if it is you’re only Sonos, I’d not want to do so until Sonos suggests it.
