We primarily used Sonos to play our own very large music library, saved on our mac. Last year, we suffered the same fate as everyone else, ie the music library was unavailable after the update. There are no good tech people in our household, so alot of the workarounds are left to me to stumble through the suggestions online. I tried some, to no avail. I have pretty much ignored the issue for the last year, but it’s been long enough that I’m hoping the problem has been fixed and that there is a semi-easy fix to get our music library playing again.
Googling the issue brings up thousands of threads from over the last 12+ months, but rather than reading a year of dialogue (alot of which clearly pre-dates any fix), i’m hoping someone can cut to the chase: Did sonos fix this?
If they fixed it, can someone walk me through the fix on a mac? Music saved on the mac, not on an external harddrive. Walk me through it like i’m five - don’t just say stuff like “then you need to save the flange file to the flux capacitor”. Tell me what buttons to click, where i need to use forward slashes vs back slashes, etc. Thanks!
