Hi,

My Sonos One SL suddenly got disconnected from the system last week.
I have had It connected over the last 3 years without any problem.

Now, I am not able to reconnect it again and I feel like I have tried everything.

I am getting different error codes and messages about ethernet cable, wrong password, too far away from the router or adjust the router settings.

Since I have a pair, both bought the same time, this doesnæt make much sense. The one that is still connected and working has no issues at all, they are standing in the same room.

I thought adding It with an ethernet cable should work, but It doesnt.
I have also read something about It must be downgraded to S1 since my app is S2. But I am not sure if these speakers came with S1 or S2 software/hardware.

Regards

If you’ve tried everything, a call to Sonos support might be the best option.

Possibly though, connect it by Ethernet cable, then power down the whole system and router. After a few minutes, power up the router. When it’s fully restarted power up the working One. When you see it in the app, power up the other One. Then wait a few minutes and see if it appears.

Also do a forced “check for updates” to ensure all is up to date - for app as well as speakers.
