speakers not responding to voice commands.

Question

Over the last couple of weeks, my speakers have all stopped responding to Alexa commands.

if I ask Alexa to play Capital radio, the response from Alexa is that she will now play the said station but not actually play it.

If I ask Alexa to play “ Luke Combs on my Spotify” the response is that it will now play said requested song and nothing happens.

Even asking to STOP playing the music results in it still playing……….utter sh#te……

Anyone else having this issue?
This issue has never never been a problem before. Has there been a recent system update?

There have been both updates to Sonos, but more applicable in this case I suspect, updates to Alexa’s software. If you haven’t, I’d recommend removing it from both your Sonos and Amazon’s system, then reinstalling the connection. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, I’d recommend a call to Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
