Beam 2 no longer plays music

I use "Alexa" and my Beam 2 repeats the instruction eg "playing BBC Radio 2" but then it is silent.  I have reconnected to my wifi, reloaded my music services and the sound works fine for the tv. What more do I need to do?

No, and I have looked at the settings in Music and in the Sonos app. I have disconnected the beam reconnected and the same with the router!

It’s still odd to me that you can’t get any music to stream, even when using the app to start the stream, and that only the hdmi input is functional. What did Sonos support suggest?

Support had me uninstall and reinstall Amazon Music and the Alexa app aafter signing out of all Amaxon accounts. After reinstalling,  I also disabled tthe sonos skill and re-enabled it in Alexa.  After all this now my Beam 2 plays my music via Amazon music, or radio via BBC Sounds!  Yay!  Support sorted me out thanks.
