Hi all

help would be appreciated.  Using an echo spot and two play ones in the same room I used to be able to say “Alexa play bbc radio one in the master bedroom”. And it would play.

for a few weeks now (just haven’t had time to post for help) instead of playing radio one it plays radio Zürich!

can anyone help?

thanks

Josh

    Hi Josh

    The BBC has decided to remove all BBC radio stations from Tunein via Alexa.  It’s possible to use the Sonos App or use IFFFT. Just carry out these actions to set-up IFTTT:

    1/ Open the Sonos App and search for BBC Radio One under the Stations tab;

    2/ Select the three verticle dots and add to ‘My Radio Stations’;

    3/ Open a web browser and search for IFFFT;

    4/ Create an account or log in and search for Sonos;

    5/ Add the Trigger ‘Play a favorite with Amazon Alexa’

    6/ Follow the instructions and link to your Sonos Account and select Radio One with the Phrase that you think is memorable - e.g. ‘radio one’;

    7/ Save this and then ask ‘Alexa, Trigger Radio One’

    Solution here that allows you to use ‘Alexa, Play Radio 2’ (or 1 or 3 or 4 or 5...)
