character error in alexa device name

Hello,

could you please help me solve these character issues with Alexa. I can rename it but description still with special character error.

what’s wrong and what is this device.

Even if it’s disable I can control TV !!

Extended characters, such as the ones you mentioned, aren’t always supported by each app. It doesn’t always correspond to the settings of the ‘keyboard’ in your OS. 

But, if you’re having issues with an Amazon App, such as the one to set up Alexa, you may be better served by contacting Amazon.

Try to change the name in the Sonos app and quit the Skill of Sonos and after activate it again (and also re-authorize it on the Sonos app if required)

This has nothing to do with Alexa or Sonos. You need to check the language keyboard on your device.

Try to change the name in the Sonos app and quit the Skill of Sonos and after activate it again (and also re-authorize it on the Sonos app if required)

This has nothing to do with Alexa or Sonos. You need to check the language keyboard on your device.

? Langage keyboard? I have 2 keyboard, French and US.

I think that ​@AjTrek1 was referring to a another type of letters that were not like ASCII or Unicode and were not supported by any of both apps.

Nothing was only a advice, your keyboard I think is well but did you have tried what I mentioned to you?

Ok but seems that special characters are supported.
