I’m not sure I understand the question. What is “my Sonos smart edge”? And, from your thread title: a Roam is a self-amplified device which will therefore play to itself. It can be grouped with other Sonos devices such as Amp. Or, I believe that it’s Bluetooth input can be used as an input stream to, say, an Amp.
