It’s far too loud. When I ask for my flash briefing she speaks at a normal volume. Then when the briefing plays it’s incredibly low so I have to turn the volume up.
Then when Alexa speaks up again she’s SO VERY LOUD.
This issue seems to come up over and over with no actual solution.
All n all the Sonos 1 seems to have been a gimmick. Well I fell for it.
Had I known how sketchy Alexa was in this I wouldn’t have opted for it.

Say...
“Alexa, set your volume to 1” ... then ask Alexa the time.
then say ...
“Alexa, set your volume to 5” ... then ask Alexa the time again.
Max volume is 10

Thanks for your help Belly M.
I have tried this, and doesn't exactly work.
Sure it lowers the volume over all but the difference between Alexas' voice and whatever else is playing (music, flash briefing, weather, etc) is not right. She's always louder.
have the echo at work with none of these issues which leads me to believe it's a Sonos thing.
