Hi, Today I tried to play music through Alexa and it said it couldn't because I didn't have internet, but after I tried with Sonos assistant and Sonos could. I removed my account and when I tried to log back into Amazon it gave me error 400, but I searched and there was no outage. Is anyone else having this problem?

There is an Amazon Alexa issue now showing on the Sonos services status page. See link:

We first need to know if Alexa is failing on one speaker (or stereo pair) or all Sonos speakers capable of using Alexa? There are different troubleshooting steps depending upon how Alexa is behaving in a particular scenario.

It only not work in one but the problem is likely more for Amazon not for Sonos, because the error is when I trying to log in in the web browser. I tried to disconnect and connect from the energy again and nothing happened.

OK…but have you tried using Alexa with any other speaker (except the Five)? That’s important for us to know.

FYI, Alexa is working for me although I’m not trying to “add” an account which may be the distinction. Also the issue may be regional. We’ll see 🤔

So I was one of the first experimenting this problem, also it only doesn't work in some speakers not in all.

That’s unusual. I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, as well as after playing something on a speaker that is ‘working’ and call Sonos Support to discuss the difference between the two. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic numbers here, Sonos’ lawyers get sensitive about GDPR, I suspect.

There may be information included in the diagnostics that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution. It certainly would be useful data for them to pass on to those investigating the issue, if there was something evident in those diagnostics.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
