Iv just purchased a new tv (Hisense 75u8qua) and Sonos beam.  Had the beam connected to old tv last night and all worked fine.  New tv arrived and have set up, missing sound from some tv shows.  Trying to watch lioness and can only hear the background noise and no dialogue.

plugged in using Arc hdmi, used the supplied HDMI cord etc.  cannot get it to work.  

Maybe mention the brand of tv.. not all TV’s are the same.

Did you connect the Beam to the HDMI-eARC port of the TV - this is the required port for a soundbar. 

If so, what are your current sound output settings in the TV’s settings menu?


EDIT: I see you said you used the ARC port of the TV. So, for me, only the second question remains.

have it set to pass through.  Have tried every setting and nothing is working.
