Question

Creating a temporary Sonos setup in a second home

We rent a vacation house for six weeks, and I want to set up my Sonos system there. I will be bringing the computer that holds all my music. What is the best way to set up the system in the vacation home so that I will not have to recreate my home network when I return?

I assume there is a router there? Dead simple if you are running in Boost mode (I.e. you have a wired component). Just take whichever speakers you want and cable one to the router in the vacation home. Connect your computer to the network and library should still work. Worst case scenario is redefine Sonos music library and reindex.

If you aren't using Boost setup at home ........start using it!
