I have 2 Sonos speakers in separate rooms. After I’ve gone through the set up process for the new speaker, I can still only seem to connect to and control the original speaker. What am I doing wrong? I would like to be able to play different music on each speaker but right now, my be Sonos plays nothing.

No that was the wrong thing to do. What you should now do is factory reset your new speaker. Do NOT factory reset your original speaker

Then go into Settings in the Sonos app, select 'Add a Player or SUB' and follow the instructions to add your new speaker.

Did you add your new speaker to your old one or set it up as a new Sonos system?
