Hi all,

I bought a turntable including phono preamp and wanted to connect it to my Play 5 via line-in. However, since my two Play 5 are configured together with a Sonos Beam and a Sonos Sub as a 5.1 setup, this is apparently not possible.

My new plan would be to buy a used Connect S2 instead and connect it to the line-out of my phono preamp. Audio playback would then be via the Sonos 5.1 setup described above. Can anyone tell me if this would be possible? 

I would also be open to alternative solutions.

Yes, this is possible. Just select the Line-In option under Browse in the Sonos app when you want to listen to turntable audio. You can also select the Beam as the Line-In Autoplay Room.
