Hello all.. I have a couple of 1st generation play 5..and want to know if I connect a Sonos arc will I be able to connect the play 5’s i have?

Since the Play:5 (Gen 1) is only compatible with the Sonos S1 app and the Sonos Arc is only compatible with the S2 app, connecting your TV to the Arc will not allow you to play the TV audio through your Play:5s. You cannot group S1 only speakers with S2 only speakers. A Sonos Beam would work though because it is compatible with S1.
