I’ve had a look around on the forums for an answer to this, but couldn’t find one to a similar issue. I’m looking to replace my very old stereo amp and bookshelf speakers with a Sonos Beam to connect to my TV, with potentially a couple of One’s for rears and a Sub down the road.
I have some vinyl and I’d like to hook up a turntable (and preamp if necessary) at some point as well.
Is it possible to connect the turntable to a Sonos Amp and use that with the other Sonos speakers above? i.e. no external/ third-party speakers wired to the Amp?
Would I add the Amp to the existing room, or create a new room and group the two whenever I want to listen to vinyl?
Is there any way to only play vinyl through the Beam to get a (more or less) stereo sound, or will the vinyl effectively play in 5.1?
I know a Sonos Connect is probably the more suitable option here, but frankly it doesn’t look as nice as the Sonos Amp!
Thanks for your help.
