Ok, so right now I have two era 100’s and a sub mini and love the way they sound for music.  Using them for movies is good too, but I’m considering adding a Beam (gen. 2) to add that extra goodness for watching movies.

So the question is, once I have all 4 units (the sub mini, the beam, and the 2 era 100’s) configured together, is there a SIMPLE way to disable the beam when I just want to play music through Airplay (or the Sonos app)

Alternatively, if temporarily disabling the Beam is not possible, is there a way, when I want to listen to music, to have both the beam and the era 100’s playing full stereo - meaning the era 100’s aren’t acting as ‘surrounds’ for playing music?

Thanks for any info!

There is a setting in the app for surround audio. It can be set to Ambient or Full when listening to music. While it’s not full stereo, it does fill the room better when set to Full.

This is the default for streamed music: stereo from the Beam and the same from the Eras - with a front/back balance adjustment to bias the sound to front or rear.
